Scion Technology Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Director of IT and Analytics for our client, specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine & High-Risk Pregnancy Care. This is a full-time, onsite position based in the Phoenix metro area.

The Director will lead technology strategy, enterprise systems, data analytics, and cybersecurity across 15 locations, partnering with executive leadership to drive technology investments and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT & analytics in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing multi-site IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with growth and clinical strategy.
• Lead selection and implementation of enterprise technology platforms.
• Oversee IT infrastructure across 15 locations (network, cloud/on-prem, telephony).
• Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and MSPs.
• Provide strategic oversight of the EHR platform and clinical systems.
• Develop cybersecurity policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the organization’s data/analytics strategy and enterprise reporting.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of IT and Analytics is responsible for the strategic leadership, implementation, and management of the organization’s technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and data analytics capabilities in a rapidly growing healthcare organization. This role will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, EHR optimization, data warehousing, reporting, and advanced analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with organizational growth and clinical strategy.
• Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise technology platforms.
• Oversee all IT infrastructure across 15 locations, including network architecture and connectivity, hardware lifecycle management, cloud and on-premises systems, and telephony and communication systems.
• Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and managed service providers.
• Provide strategic oversight of the organization’s EHR platform and related clinical systems.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), HITECH, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Develop and lead the organization’s data and analytics strategy.
• Oversee the build and maintenance of enterprise reporting and dashboard infrastructure.
