Paycom is seeking a Director of IT to oversee all technology operations and continuously evaluate IT policies and systems. You will translate organizational strategies into effective technology solutions, lead budgeting and vendor management, and ensure secure, reliable IT services across the enterprise.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to work with senior executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, plus 3-5 years of IT and purchasing experience.
  • Preferred Health Care sector or Human Services sector experience.
  • Valid Texas Drivers’ License, clear MVR and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all technology operations and continuously evaluates them according to established guidelines.
  • Devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the organization.
  • Analyzes the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  • Purchases efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.
  • Inspects the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identifies the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and reports to the CEO and Executive Team.
  • Coordinates other IT professionals to provide guidance of technology needs of the organization.
  • Troubleshoots critical technology issues as they arise.
  • Supervises staff; hiring, training, performance management, and safety compliance.

Job Summary: The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing all technology operations and ongoing evaluation of IT policies and systems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.IT Responsibilities:Oversees all technology operations and continuously evaluates them according to established guidelines.Devises and establishes IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the organization.Analyzes the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.Purchases efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software.Inspects the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.Identifies the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and reports to the CEO and Executive Team.Coordinates other IT professionals to provide guidance of technology needs of the organization.Troubleshoots critical technology issues as they arise.Financial ManagementWithin the scope of responsibility, adheres to billing for services, P-Card documentation, etc.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position requires supervision of subordinates that supports, motivates, and empowers the members of his/her team. Ensures that all departmental human resources responsibilities are met including hiring, firing, staff training, career development, succession planning, equal employment opportunity, health and safety issues, evaluations and performance management for all staff operating each of the distinct programs.
