Job summary

VeeFriends seeks a Director of Inventory Management & Logistics to own inventory control, warehousing, vault operations, kitting, and order fulfillment across a multi-channel brand. The role leads a team and partners with Technology to build a scalable IMS/WMS foundation for high-value collectibles.

You will optimize inventory visibility, manage 3PL relationships, and design premium fulfillment processes for DTC, wholesale, LiveCommerce, and events. Based in NY metro area.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive inventory and logistics experience in consumer products, retail, eCommerce, or collectibles.
• Experience managing 3PLs and external logistics partners.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, reconciliation, and WMS/OMS environments.
• Experience spanning DTC/eCommerce and wholesale; LiveCommerce is valuable.
• Experience with high-value, serialized or premium inventory preferred.
• Led IMS/WMS implementations, transformations, or integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory management across growing product portfolio and channels.
• Build inventory visibility across warehouses, vaults, LiveCommerce, and in-transit stock.
• Develop controls for receiving, storage, transfers, allocation, cycles, and accuracy.
• Own shrinkage, damage, variance, and exception management.
• Lead network strategy for warehousing, vault, LiveCommerce, and potential in-house models.
• Manage logistics partners, SLAs, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Lead 3PL evaluations, RFPs, and transitions as needed.
• Build scalable premium kitting and high-end fulfillment capabilities.
• Partner with Technology to define IMS/WMS needs and integrations.
• Establish dashboards and KPIs for inventory accuracy, turns, and fulfillment performance.
