Job summary

Hendricks Commercial Properties is seeking a Director of Insurance to lead strategic oversight and administration of the company’s insurance programs within Risk Management. You will drive renewals, budgets, and claims strategy while integrating AI tools to enhance reporting and dashboards.

You will supervise the Risk Management Specialist, liaise with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders, and influence enterprise risk management through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance or risk management.
• Strong background in insurance procurement, claims oversight, and policy review.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the performance and results of a function, industry and/or region.
• Oversee procurement, renewal, and administration of corporate insurance programs.
• Provide strategic recommendations on coverage, limits, and risk transfer strategies.
• Integrate insurance strategies into the ERM framework and ensure accurate reporting.
