The role emphasizes cultivating relationships with businesses, foundations, and community leaders while aligning fundraising efforts with MPCS priorities and school initiatives. Strong proposals and stewardship are essential for ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in B2B sales, finance, business development, institutional fundraising or another relationship-driven revenue environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop senior-level business relationships and translate those relationships into measurable financial results.
• Confidence discussing money and making significant financial asks.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to represent MPCS effectively among business and community leaders.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop persuasive funding proposals.
• Disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-through.
• Experience with a CRM or comparable relationship management system. Raiser’s Edge experience is preferred.
• Sound judgment when working with confidential financial information and significant donor relationships.

Responsabilités

• Build and grow institutional relationships with businesses, foundations and other organizations that can invest in MPCS.
• Develop a strong network of institutional partners and expand the universe of potential funders.
• Represent MPCS externally as a credible relationship builder with business leaders, foundations and community leaders.
• Own a portfolio responsible for generating revenue annually through institutional philanthropy and GOAL programs.
• Lead major institutional solicitations and align funding opportunities with MPCS priorities.
• Develop a robust pipeline of prospective institutional partners and track progress toward revenue goals.
• Coordinate with Marketing to raise awareness of Georgia GOAL and American GOAL.
• Maintain stewardship and impact reporting to funders after securing support.
