Job summary

Cornerstone Banks seeks a Director of Innovation and Project Management to drive in-person initiatives at our ND/SD locations. You will lead the bank's innovation and project management efforts, focusing on process improvement, ownership clarity, and data-driven decision making.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in banking, strong change leadership, and excellent communication skills to partner with senior leadership and advance continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with 10+ years of banking experience.
• 10+ years of leading, coaching and mentoring people through change.

• Lead the bank's Innovation and Project Management efforts, including process improvement and change management.
• Define ownership clarity, roles, and responsibilities; maximize data usage.
• Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities and foster continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

This position is responsible for leading the bank's efforts around Innovation and Project Management. This includes process improvement, efficiency and effectiveness recommendations, ownership clarity, change management leadership, clear roles and responsibilities, maximizing our use of data, and leading projects and innovation/project management team. Partner with bank leadership to identify new ways to grow the bank, align goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Thorough banking knowledge and knowledge of bank products and services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and independent judgement with strong analytical skills

Background & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance and 10+ years of banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. 10+ years of leading, coaching and mentoring people through change effectively is preferred.
