The Director of IT will shape the future of All Flex Solutions during a period of integration, modernization, and growth, leading a best‑in‑class, scalable IT infrastructure and ERP ecosystem while mentoring a high‑performing IT team.

As a strategic business partner, the IT Director will influence enterprise strategy, enhance operational capability, strengthen cybersecurity and compliance posture, and implement technology initiatives for the next generation of manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the IT organizational structure, capabilities, and strategic roadmap to support current operations and future growth.
  • Lead the development and execution of technology initiatives that enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Communicate the IT vision, roadmap, project priorities, service commitments, and performance metrics to executive leadership, the IT team, and broader employee groups.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring appropriate funding for the project pipeline, infrastructure needs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Establish strong vendor, licensing, and consulting partnerships that maximize value, reliability, and scalability of IT investments.
  • Optimize the return on IT investments by selecting cost‑justified solutions based on performance, reliability, supportability, upgrade paths, and industry trends.
  • Implement a right‑sized governance model that prioritizes technology initiatives, allocates resources effectively, and ensures alignment between IT and business objectives.
  • Engage monthly with technology leaders of the Granite Companies in high‑impact Technology Affinity meetings to share blueprints, practices, resources, training, progress, plans, and support.
ERP & Business Systems
  • Drive optimization of NetSuite and integrated systems by translating operational requirements into scalable, sustainable technology solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of core application systems that support production, supply chain, sales, and other critical business operations.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation, workflow improvements, system enhancements, and application integrations.
  • Deliver actionable analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to empower data‑driven decision‑making across the company.

  • Build a pipeline of IT talent through active sourcing, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner, fostering collaboration between IT and all departments to ensure aligned priorities and effective execution.
  • Regularly assess staffing needs and organizational capabilities; guide build‑vs‑buy decisions related to outsourcing, contractors, and in‑house expertise.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and clear communication within the IT organization.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
  • Set and execute the strategic direction for the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems can support current operations while enabling scalability and future growth.
  • Ensure that infrastructure architecture—including network, cloud, telecommunications, cybersecurity controls, and production systems—reflects best practices and delivers high reliability and performance.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery, security compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of all enterprise technology platforms, including NetSuite, manufacturing systems, networks, and end‑user hardware.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure IT performance in areas such as system uptime, service desk responsiveness, project delivery, cybersecurity posture, cost efficiency, and user satisfaction.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of IT operational processes, ensuring robust support for production environments and minimizing downtime risk.
  • Own the company’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring protection of systems, data, intellectual property, and manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and maintain compliance with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) requirements—defining controls, implementing required processes and documentation, and preparing the organization for assessments and ongoing audits.
  • Ensure all technology systems, data handling processes, and third‑party relationships comply with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), including access controls, data residency, user screening, and secure storage of controlled technical information.
  • Oversee vulnerability management, incident response planning, access management, and security awareness training across the organization.
  • Ensure all systems and infrastructure follow industry‑standard security frameworks and align with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with executive leadership to assess risk, develop mitigation plans, and ensure cybersecurity is integrated into technology decisions and system designs.
