Job summary

Boly:Welch seeks a tenured Director of Information Technology to take ownership of the entire IT function and shape what comes next. You will lead the IT team, guide ERP and cybersecurity initiatives, and ensure secure, scalable systems in a hands-on, senior role.

The position, fully on-site role, places you in Vancouver to collaborate with Operations and Quality while aligning IT with business goals and vendor partnerships for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive IT experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (PeopleSoft) including configuration, integrations, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, server/virtualization, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT function and set IT vision and strategy with executives.
• Lead, hire, and develop the IT team including succession planning.
• Oversee ERP selection, cybersecurity execution, and system operations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to ensure secure, reliable, scalable systems.
• This is a fully on-site role in Vancouver.

• Master’s degree preferred

Your New Role Our client is seeking a tenured Director of Information Technology to take ownership of the entire IT function and help shape what comes next.

As the Director of IT, you’ll be in a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with responsibility across network and infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business applications. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply oversee from the sidelines; you’ll stay close to the tech, stepping in on escalated issues. Working with key vendors and partnering closely with Operations and Quality, you’ll ensure systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned.

Your primary responsibilities will include setting the IT vision and strategy in partnership with executive and business unit leaders. You will lead, hire, and develop the IT team, including succession planning for key roles. From ERP selection to cybersecurity execution, you’ll have full control over how the systems of the company operate.

This is a fully on-site role, with only a five-minute commute to beautiful downtown Vancouver!
