Job summary

Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is seeking a full-time Director of Information Governance to lead the Information Governance department across our office locations. The role focuses on implementing policies to comply with privacy, confidentiality, and information security laws, aligning with firm objectives and client data protection.

Ideal candidates will have a background in data privacy and data protection compliance, experience with law firm operations, and proficiency with iManage and iCompli.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; CRM certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of document and content management systems.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities under pressure with initiative.
• Experience in data governance or information security in a professional services firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s data governance team providing training motivation and support
• Design and implement data governance training for attorneys and others in the firm
• Travel to all offices and work with office managers and administrative staff on physical records movement throughout the various offices and across the firm
• Project manage onboarding and off boarding of client and attorney data
• Be a superuser of the firm’s data governance software, iManage and iCompli
• Work closely with the IT department to understand user issues and provide resolution
• Manage and coordinate physical records third-party vendors
