Varda Space Industries is seeking a Director of Indo‑Pacific Defense Strategy & Business Development based in Honolulu to shape Varda's presence across USPACOM. You will drive engagements with domestic commands and allied nations, translating requirements into strategic proposals and advanced defense capabilities.

This builder role requires coordinating with engineering, mission management, and policy teams to win major programs and advance regional missile defense initiatives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, international relations, or related field.
• 5+ years in DoD aerospace, defense tech, or international strategic development.
• Based in Honolulu, HI or willing to relocate.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to be fast-tracked.
• U.S. Citizenship and ITAR compliance are required.
• Proven ability to manage defense solicitations end-to-end.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Pacific Rim and continental U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Varda's primary interface with USPACOM and other commands to align capabilities with theater needs.
• Identify, qualify, and close international defense opportunities with Pacific Rim partners.
• Penetrate regional market targets by coordinating with DoD and international ministries on programs.
• Lead domestic and international proposals from white papers to final submission.
• Translate requirements into theater-specific solutions with engineering and mission management.
• Build a robust regional pipeline through engagement with government leads and defense attachés.
• Represent Varda at regional forums and policy discussions on hypersonic threats and missile defense.
