Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or Leadership is required or strongly preferred.
• District Level Administrator Exceptional Needs approved program is required/strongly preferred.
• Experience as Director of Special Education is preferred.
• Must hold one of the specified licenses as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional leadership and drive inclusive education using Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
• Oversee compliance with IDEA and Section 504; manage due process, mediation, and state complaints.
• Build staff capacity through modern professional development and coaching.
• Engage families and community partners to support PK-12+ transitions and postsecondary outcomes.
