Director of Special Education Reports to: CEO FLSA Classification: Exempt Purpose: The Special Education Director leads and advocates for the inclusive and equitable education of students with special needs. The Special Education Director is responsible for program development and oversight; compliance in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to special education; team leadership and collaboration; student evaluation and assessment; developing an ongoing professional development program for staff; community engagement; and leading data analysis and reporting efforts.
