Elios Healthcare is seeking a Director of Imaging to lead imaging services across multiple clinic locations, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and other modalities. Reporting to the COO, you will set strategy, oversee operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive growth in imaging across the organization.

Job description

A growing outpatient private healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Imaging to lead and oversee all imaging services across multiple clinic locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this executive leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and continued growth of the imaging department, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and other imaging modalities.

This position requires a highly organized, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about building high performing teams, delivering exceptional patient care, and driving operational excellence.

You will work closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to ensure consistent, high quality imaging services throughout the organization.

WHO FITS:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist with progressive imaging leadership experience
• Proven experience managing imaging operations across multiple modalities such as X-ray, MRI, and CT
• Demonstrated success leading teams, improving operational performance, and implementing process improvements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, solve problems, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship building skills
• Comfortable working in a multi site outpatient environment

We're looking for a visible, hands on leader who leads from the front rather than behind a desk.

This person will be in the trenches with the team, providing daily support, mentoring new hires, and driving employee engagement and retention.

They will champion high quality imaging standards, oversee the installation of new imaging equipment, maintain ACR accreditation, and ensure operational excellence across the department.

Success in this role comes from investing in people, building strong teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, not simply managing reports and spreadsheets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all imaging services across multiple outpatient locations
• Oversee X-ray, MRI, CT, and other imaging modalities to ensure efficient, high quality patient care
• Lead, mentor, and develop imaging leaders and staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Establish and monitor departmental goals, key performance indicators, and operational benchmarks
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and radiation safety standards
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
• Partner with executive leadership on departmental growth initiatives, capital planning, and operational strategy
• Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, patient experience, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support exceptional service and quality outcomes
• Travel between clinic locations to promote consistency in operations, leadership, and patient care
