Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, LP (AMH) is seeking a Director of Identity and Technology Operations to lead the IAM program, including governance, joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle automation, and SSO across enterprise apps. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and audit teams to ensure least privilege and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities include designing the identity model, evaluating platforms, and driving automation and API integrations while ensuring auditability and strong security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Minimum eight (8) years in identity and access management with hands-on engineering/architecture.
• Minimum three (3) years leading technical teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Owns IAM strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmap.
• Designs enterprise identity model and RBAC/ABAC approaches.
• Evaluates platforms and sets technical standards across IT.
• Leads joiner-mover-leaver provisioning and lifecycle automation.
