Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Texas to oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, ensuring quality supports, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance across the community.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in human services, with strong organizational and communication skills, and a compassionate, reliable leadership style. On-call availability and opportunities for growth are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in human services (preferred).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
• State requirements or regulations may apply; licensure or certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community, including direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage program staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and corrective action.
• Oversee program planning; monitor service delivery and ensure engagement and relevance for individuals served.
• Must be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
