Job summary

AWBS in Detroit, MI is seeking a Director of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Services to provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the agency’s IDD programs. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical leadership role; IDD leadership preferred.
• QMHP and QIDP credentials or ability to obtain them within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for all IDD programs.
• Direct, coach, and support IDD staff and supervisors.
• Establish program goals, monitor KPIs, and implement quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, accreditation, and funder requirements.
• Oversee quality assurance, utilization management, and audit readiness.
• Monitor EMR compliance, billing integrity, and service authorization processes.
• Develop and monitor program budgets with Finance.
