Job summary

ResCare Community Living, a part of Sevita, is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services to lead multiple community programs and deliver person-centered supports that promote independence and growth.

The role manages day-to-day operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and budgeting while ensuring engaging, quality services. A Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years in Human Services is preferred, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance are required.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, including direct supports, planning, regulatory compliance, staffing, and financial management.
• Oversee program staff performance, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Ensure planning and delivery of services are engaging, consistent, and person-centered.
• Be available on-call to support staff and provide coverage as needed.
