Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Administrators and department leaders to support staffing, employee relations, retention, and culture.
  • Recruit, interview, and help select team members who share our values.
  • Create welcoming onboarding experiences for new employees.
  • Explain culture, policies, benefits, expectations, safety practices, and resident rights to new joiners.
  • Support employees and leaders with questions, coaching, performance management, and workplace issues.
  • Promote an environment where every team member feels respected and valued.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Coordinate employee screenings, background checks, and employment documents.
  • Ensure employment practices comply with company policies and federal/state/local requirements.
  • Support recognition, engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify improvements to the employee experience.
  • Coordinate training and annual in-services (OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, etc.).
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and HR budgeting.
  • Protect confidentiality of employee and resident information.
  • Support residents' rights, dignity, privacy, and fair treatment.

What You’ll Do

As our Director of Human Resources, you will be a trusted resource for employees and leaders while helping create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Administrator and department leaders to support staffing, employee relations, retention, and workplace culture.

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and helping select team members who share our commitment to compassionate care and our core values.

  • Conducting exit interviews and identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience.

  • Coordinating required training and annual in-services, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, and other mandatory education.

  • Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and HR-related budgeting.

  • Protecting the confidentiality of employee and resident information.

  • Supporting and protecting residents' rights, dignity, privacy, individuality, and right to fair and equitable treatment.
