Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and modernize the HR function across a growing, multi-site manufacturing organization.

The role requires strategic HR leadership and hands-on execution to build scalable policies and controls, while partnering with executives to shape workforce planning and talent strategy. The ideal candidate has extensive HR leadership experience in manufacturing, a track record of transforming HR functions, and strong capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience with leadership responsibility.
• 5+ years leading HR teams or a major HR function.
• Experience in manufacturing or complex operations preferred.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for HR across multiple locations.
• Assess HR organization and implement changes to improve effectiveness and accountability.
• Establish clear roles and reduce duplication within HR.
• Develop scalable HR policies, systems, and controls for growth.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Align job architecture, descriptions, leveling, and compensation practices.
