Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Alaska seeks an experienced HR leader to drive learning and development, employee relations, and HR operations. You will partner with managers, oversee leadership development, and ensure compliance with federal/state laws while advancing staff education and onboarding across clinical and corporate areas.

You will build measurable development programs, lead governance across multi-state accreditation contexts, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field required.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of broad HR experience, healthcare operations a plus.
• Expertise in employee relations, performance development, and HR operations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Experience leading educational programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partners with managers and HR staff to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Consults with managers on employee relations issues and resolves complaints.
• Provides mediation for conflict management and employee relations; advises on disciplinary actions.
• Maintains personnel records of transactions including performance reviews and actions.
• Centralizes learning and development, establishing a measurable framework for team development.
• Builds and delivers leadership, management, and functional development training.
• Acts as L&D business partner to client groups, identifying development needs.
• Oversees learning governance to ensure compliance across multiple states and accreditation standards.
• Owns all processes related to learning systems, implementation, reporting, and required trainings.
• Implements progressive Leadership Development programs and supports onboarding across clinical and corporate areas.
• Continuously measures and reports the effectiveness and impact of development programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
