Job summary

Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is seeking a Director of Human Resources for Manufacturing Operations to lead labor relations, talent strategy, and workforce planning across a multi-plant environment of ~2,200 employees. The role reports to the Senior HR Director and focuses on executive HR counsel, change management, and CB agreement administration.

The position offers a pay range of $132,500–$196,000 with eligible annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in manufacturing, industrial, or operations.
• Significant labor relations experience supporting a unionized workforce in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience administering collective bargaining agreements and advising on contract interpretation, grievances, investigations, discipline, and dispute resolution.
• Advanced ability to lead and develop HR professionals and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and execution across a multi-site manufacturing environment with alignment to enterprise HR priorities.
• Provide executive HR counsel, labor relations leadership, and organizational effectiveness guidance.
• Manage labor strategy, contract negotiations support, and CB agreement administration for unionized sites.
• Shape talent, workforce planning, succession, and leadership development across Wisconsin manufacturing operations.
• Partner with plant leaders to improve safety, quality, productivity, engagement, and performance.
