Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent experience preferred.
• Seven to ten years of relevant work experience with management background.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to guide employees toward goal achievement using appropriate styles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, management, and computer skills.
• Experience delivering high-level guest service with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, controls, and directs the housekeeping department to maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and secure environment.
• Coordinates housekeeping employees, communications and projects.
• Controls the efficiency of the housekeeping department.
• Checks book inventory of guest, cleaning and operational supplies.
• Efficient control of labor management.
• Influences the morale of housekeeping department employees, managers and supervisors.
• Communicates with Assistant Director and Housekeeping Manager.
• Assists with the development and approval of training.
• Discusses team morale with housekeeping employees, managers and supervisors.
• Complies with all SOPs and meets housekeeping standards.
