Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead the team at Homewood Suites Windsor Locks, CT. You will motivate staff to deliver top-quality cleanliness and service, coordinating with Maintenance and Front Desk to ensure guest satisfaction and brand standards.

The role requires supervisory experience in hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory and safety within budget.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
• This job requires physical activity: movement, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions, including stairs.
• Applicants must be available for a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, counsel, motivate and recognize the housekeeping staff.
• Oversee daily operations, sustainability programs, inventory, ordering, and scheduling within budget.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to brand standards.
• Greet guests and assist with requests; build relationships with long-term and repeat guests.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Front Desk to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain department productivity.
