The NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS) seeks a seasoned administrator to oversee staff planning, contracts, and operations at the Division of Youth and Family Justice facilities in New York. You will analyze staffing, coordinate with multiple ACS divisions, and support program goals in a 24/7 detention setting.

Competenze

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work with four years of full-time paid professional experience in a child care setting, including two years in an administrative capacity; or
• Master's degree in sociology, psychology, education, public administration or closely related field with five years of full-time paid professional experience including two years in an administrative capacity; or
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above, with at least two years of administrative experience in a child care setting.

Mansioni

• Monitor and conduct analyses of facility staffing to ensure balanced staff allocation across work tours, tracking schedules and overtime.
• Work with the Executive Director to monitor administrative contracts for uniforms, cleaning, personnel, and renewals; submit procurement requests.
• Manage performance and learning for the Detention center, coordinating trainings, and supporting performance evaluations.
• Oversee the Housekeeping Unit responsible for daily cleaning, painting, and laundry services.
• Coordinate with other ACS divisions on repairs, maintenance, and building security.
• Collaborate with Crossroads counterpart on new initiatives and process improvements for site uniformity.
• Work with the ACS Employment Law Unit on disciplinary referrals.
• Liaise with ACS Human Resources on timekeeping, workers’ compensation, and leaves.
• Coordinate with NYCDOI, NYS Justice Center, and NYSOCFS for oversight responses and visits.
• Support development of goals and metrics for the facility and monitor operations and special projects as directed.
