The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) seeks a Maintenance Chief for the Lewistown Maintenance Division. This executive role provides guidance and oversight of maintenance activities in the Area, including long-range planning, program management, and implementing new technologies and methods.

The position supervises 67.29 FTE and coordinates 130–150 temporary staff to ensure public safety. Headed by the Maintenance Division Administrator, the ideal candidate has strong leadership,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree as listed in education requirements.
• Minimum five years in highway maintenance and construction.
• Minimum three years of supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance activities in the Lewistown Area, including long-range planning and program management.
• Develop and implement new technologies and methods for roadway maintenance.
• Administer regulatory/permitting, hazardous materials, and environmental programs.
• Manage approximately 67.29 FTE with seasonal fluctuations (130–150 personnel).
