UF Health is seeking a Director of Health Information Management to lead enterprise-wide governance of the medical record lifecycle and data integrity. This role oversees scanning, indexing, ROI, patient portal support, and privacy compliance, ensuring defensible information management for care, billing, audits, and legal requests.

The position requires strong leadership to drive standardization, automation, and analytics while managing vendor relationships and risk.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, health informatics, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide enterprise leadership over the medical record lifecycle and health information governance.
• Oversee document scanning, indexing, quality controls, data integrity, ROI, and patient portal support.
• Collaborate with CDI, HIM, IT, Revenue Cycle, Compliance/Privacy/Legal to improve data quality and reduce risk.
• Lead standardization, automation, analytics, and vendor strategy across HIM operations.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in HIM/related field

Master’s degree preferred
