Job summary

San Felipe Pueblo is seeking a Clinical Information Technology Coordinator to oversee interfaces and functionality between Indian Health Services (IHS) and Tribal data systems, ensuring adherence to medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of operating health care systems.

The role emphasizes planning, implementing, and training on RPMS/EHR modules, coordinating with health divisions, and driving program quality through data-driven reporting and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with electronic health records or data systems.
• Knowledge of IHS clinics, Medical, Dental, and Behavioral health programs.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate Clinical Information Technology software.
• Manage site parameter customization and address integration issues with software packages.
• Assist in implantation of new software products for the facility.
• Assist in configuration, training, testing, and troubleshooting the PMS & EHR application within the Comprehensive Health Divisions.
• Identify and resolve workflow gaps in documentation and communicate outcomes to the Comprehensive Health Division.
• Update/upgrade software/hardware related to RPMS/EHR platform to stay current.
