Job summary

Rite of Passage in Greenville, FL is seeking a Director of Group Living to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth in our program at Joann Bridges Academy. You will monitor student behaviors, document activities, and support their treatment goals.

Collaborate with other staff to deliver educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, building a positive, therapeutic environment that helps youths grow into successful adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in a training or compliance role, or a bachelor's degree with 1 year in a training or compliance role.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth in the program.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.

As an DGL, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

• High school diploma or GED and three years of experience in a training or compliance role, or a bachelor's degree and one-year experience in a training or compliance role.
