Midea Americas Corp is establishing its core Government Relations function in Washington, D.C. We are seeking an exceptional, seasoned Government Relations Director/Senior Manager to represent Midea before U.S. federal legislative bodies, regulatory agencies, and key industry associations.
The ideal candidate will combine strong legal acumen with strategic legislative and executive branch expertise. You will navigate complex federal regulatory frameworks—including consumer product safety (CPSC), trade and export controls (BIS), investment screening (CIFIUS), and trade policy—while shaping Midea's legislative and public affairs strategy in the United States.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $140,000- $250,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
