Job summary

The Citrus Club in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Director of Golf Operations to oversee all aspects of daily golf activities, reporting to the General Manager and guiding the golf operations team. Manage tournaments, instruction, golf shop, outside operations and course maintenance to ensure top-tier service for members.

Lead staff development, budgeting, and scheduling while partnering with club management to drive member satisfaction and property profitability in a dynamic private-club

Qualifications

• Must be a Class A PGA member in good standing.
• Experience as Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional at private country clubs.
• Proven track record in multi-course operations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Golf Operations and develop an operating plan for the department.
• Oversee Member experience, pace of play, and staffing levels.
• Recruit, train and schedule golf staff; enforce standards and coaching.
• Lead events, tournaments and club activities with high service levels.
• Maintain golf shop, cart fleet and course presentation to members.
• Oversee Practice Facility management and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with policies and drive daily, weekly, monthly sales targets.
• Represent the facility with hospitality, professionalism, and guest relations.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance membership growth and profitability.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
