Job summary

The Citrus Club at PGA West in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Director of Golf Operations to lead daily golf operations, oversee staff, and drive member satisfaction for Century Golf Partners Management. The successful candidate will be a Class A PGA member with multi-course management and budgeting experience, responsible for training, event coordination, shop presentation and high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Class A PGA member in good standing.
• Must currently be a Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional.
• Experience in Private Country Clubs.
• Minimum four years of applicable golf operations management experience.
• Strong leadership and budget management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Golf Operations and develop an operating plan for the department.
• Ensure exceptional Member experience and pace of play; respond to complaints and optimize rounds.
• Recruit, train and schedule golf staff; enforce standards and coaching.
• Oversee events; coordinate with Events and membership for high-level service.
• Manage Golf Shop, Cart Fleet and Facility presentation; ensure organized, appealing retail environments.
• Oversee Practice Facility usage, staffing and revenue generation; manage tee sheets.
• Be the face of the facility; collaborate with department heads to grow Membership.
• Maintain compliance with policies; lead regular departmental meetings and staff development.
• Provide timely communications to golf operations team and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
