Job summary

Topgolf in Mobile, AL seeks a Director of Instruction to build and lead the golf instruction platform at the venue, driving lesson volume and developing Lead Instructors. You will create programming that keeps guests coming back to grow their game and brand.

You will oversee scheduling, coaching quality, and partnerships with events to integrate lessons into programming while meeting budget targets and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience teaching golf lessons across multiple skill levels.
• PGA Membership; Class A Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience managing an independent golf lesson program.
• Proven track record of successful golf instruction.
• Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Golf Instruction and drive lesson volume.
• Coordinate, schedule, and deliver individual and group lessons for all levels.
• Utilize swing analysis tech, launch monitors, and teaching aids.
• Walk the tee line during peak times to market the instruction platform.
• Direct tournaments, leagues, camps, and player development series.
• Grow the program through marketing, outreach, and partnerships.
• Supervise inquiries related to lesson schedules and series.
• Develop and implement player development ideas to boost engagement.
• Manage and develop coaching and sales skills in Lead Instructors.
• Build a team delivering high-quality guest experiences.
• Maintain equipment inventory and meet budgetary requirements.
