Job summary

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a results-driven Payroll Director to lead the US Payroll Team and Global Stock Team. You will ensure timely bi-weekly payroll processing, manage payroll reconciliations, and drive SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar field; payroll work experience preferred.
• Current APA/Payroll Org membership and CPP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the US payroll team and global stock payrolls with timely processing.
• Oversee payroll reconciliations, stock initiatives, and SOX reviews.
• Coordinate with multiple business partners (tax, benefits, finance, HR) for information requests and audits.
• Develop SOPs and provide cross-training for payroll and stock teams.
• Lead projects and present to groups during SOX walkthroughs and group events.
