Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for Global External Manufacturing to drive end-to-end projects across GEO and the external network. You will build integrated schedules, manage CMOs, and ensure plans meet scope, cost, and GMP standards.

Hybrid work in San Rafael, CA with 10–20% travel, you will translate complex inputs into actionable plans, lead governance forums, and enable timely, data-driven decisions for new product introductions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science, Business, or Information Systems (or equivalent).
• PMP certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of projects from intake through benefits realization.
• Build, maintain, and optimize integrated project schedules (MS Project).
• Interface with CMOs to align external manufacturing activities.
• Ensure GMP, validation, quality, and documentation meet regulatory needs.
• Consolidate risks and decisions; govern with logs and dashboards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely delivery and governance.
