Job summary

ScanSource, Inc. is seeking a Director of Events Marketing to lead the events team and oversee platforms for in‑person and virtual events across education and training topics.

You will partner with Sales, Supplier Services, and cross‑functional teams to deliver a consistent brand experience and best‑in‑class customer experiences. The role requires 5+ years in corporate events, strong budgeting skills, and outstanding organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of corporate events experience or equivalent.
• Budget management experience.
• Incredible attention to detail.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to understand goals and objectives of events as it relates to the big picture.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead the events marketing team and manage events platforms.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supplier Services to ensure brand consistency at events.
• Partner with GTM, sales, corporate communications, and digital teams to deliver a consistent brand experience through events.
• Develop and deploy best practices for world-class customer experiences at events.
• Oversee budgeting and ROI tracking across the event program.
• Evaluate new vendors for efficiency, cost management, and scalability.
• Manage event pipelines from planning through execution and follow‑up ROI.
