HCLTech is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Field Deployment Engineering (FDE) to lead our global AI deployment organization supporting the Anthropic ecosystem. This executive role focuses on scaling enterprise AI deployments and delivering measurable business value.

As Director, you will manage a globally distributed team of Field Deployment Engineers, drive repeatable deployment models, and partner with sales, alliances, and solution teams to accelerate customer outcomes across

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading customer-facing engineering, cloud, AI, or enterprise technology teams.
• Experience managing large-scale teams supporting enterprise deployments.
• Deep understanding of enterprise AI platforms and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering or deployment organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and organizational transformation.
• Proven ability to manage complex client engagements with executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a global organization of Field Deployment Engineers.
• Build, develop, and mentor technical leaders and deployment specialists.
• Establish workforce planning and staffing models across regions.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes and innovation.
• Lead execution of complex AI transformation programs across industries and geographies.
• Govern deployment quality, architecture standards, and client success metrics.
• Ensure adoption of AI-powered solutions including AI Agents and Digital Employees.
• Develop scalable deployment frameworks for multiple industries and clients.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and sponsors.
