Job summary

HORSBURGH & SCOTT is seeking a Director of Repair & Service to lead two Cleveland-area locations in a unified operation focused on industrial gearbox and rotating equipment repair. You will drive growth, profitability, and operational performance, owning the repair process from inquiry through delivery while coordinating with Engineering and Direct Sales to ensure competitive, profitable quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Business.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial gearbox repair, gearing, rotating equipment, or related industry.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in repair, operations, engineering, or business-unit management.
• Multi-site leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead two Cleveland locations as a unified Repair & Service organization with common goals and performance expectations.
• Drive growth, profitability, GM, repair cycle time, OTD, and customer responsiveness.
• Coordinate with Direct Sales, Engineering, and Repair Operations to move opportunities from inquiry to delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality, and financial accountability across both sites.
• Staffing, capacity planning, and capital requirements to support growth and emergency repairs.
