Job summary

Service Corporation International’s Rose Hills in Whittier, CA seeks a compassionate team member to coordinate funeral, visitation and burial services, serving as the primary contact for families. You will guide arrangements, liaise with staff and vendors, and ensure smooth service execution.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in funeral services, a valid license, and comfort with audio/visual equipment. Part-time schedule with weekend/evening availability is required, with 401(k) eligibility

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• At least two years funeral services experience at high-volume location.
• Experience at Rose Hills preferred.
• First Call experience arriving at personal homes a plus.
• Experience setting up and using audio/visual equipment and microphones a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to grieving families ensuring expectations are met.
• Primary family contact for visitations and services.
• Direct funeral, visitation, and graveside services.
• Ensure chapel and AV setup is ready for events.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and parking as needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license

Two years funeral services experience

Experience at Rose Hills preferred

First Call experience arriving at homes
