Exegistics Resource Solutions is seeking a Director of Fulfillment to lead and scale our client’s pharmaceutical supply chain operations in a highly regulated environment. You will oversee fulfillment, warehousing, inventory, logistics and distribution, driving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while building high-performing teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership with 10+ years in fulfillment and 5+ years in pharma, strong GMP/GDP knowledge, and a track record of strategic, KPI-driven

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; master's preferred.
• 10+ years in fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• 5+ years in leadership within pharma/biopharma.
• Experience in regulated environments (GMP/GDP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional skills.
• Proven ability to drive improvements using KPIs.

Director of Fulfillment Exegistics Resource Solutions is partnering with a leading organization in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry to identify an experienced Director of Fulfillment. This senior leadership position will oversee fulfillment, warehousing, inventory, logistics, and distribution operations within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with significant pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience who can improve efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, develop high-performing teams, and build scalable operations that support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, logistics, and distribution operations
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and on time
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, service levels, inventory accuracy, and cost performance
• Partner with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and internal departments
• Monitor operational KPIs and supply chain performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure fulfillment and distribution operations comply with applicable GMP and GDP requirements
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to support compliance requirements and audits
• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse, logistics, inventory, and fulfillment teams
• Establish clear performance expectations while promoting accountability and continuous improvement
• Develop long-term fulfillment and supply chain strategies that support growth and scalability
• Evaluate technology, systems, automation, and process improvements that can strengthen fulfillment operations
• Partner with senior leadership to align operational strategies with broader company objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, distribution, warehousing, or related operations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience leading fulfillment or distribution operations in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements.
• Proven leadership and team-development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience using KPIs and operational metrics to drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory, or supply chain management systems.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on leader who can successfully balance people, processes, compliance, customer service, and operational performance. Candidates should be comfortable leading complex fulfillment and distribution operations while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, compliance, cost effectiveness, and scalability. Direct pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical fulfillment, warehousing, or distribution leadership experience is strongly preferred.
