Job summary

Condé Nast is seeking an engineering leader for Front End who will own the delivery of world-class, consumer-facing web experiences across brands such as Vogue, The New Yorker and GQ. You will guide architecture, technologies and people management, while partnering with product, design and editorial teams on reader-centric roadmaps.

The role requires leading distributed teams, setting realistic expectations, and pushing AI-native delivery practices to improve speed and quality at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams delivering consumer-facing web at scale.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
• Strong hands-on credibility in modern front-end/web platform engineering and architecture.
• Excellent communication with product, design, editorial partners and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow and develop the Web applications team across locations and time zones.
• Translate business and product goals into a credible, sequenced roadmap and deliver against it.
• Set quality benchmarks and maintain momentum while reviewing technical decisions.
• Set technical direction with principal engineers and balance long-term architecture with short-term delivery.
• Foster cross-functional partnerships with product, design and editorial teams to align reader-experience goals with engineering plans.
