Job summary

ClearJet is seeking a Director of FP&A to own planning, forecasting, and performance management. This is a hands-on builder role to develop an investor-grade three-statement model and drive unit economics across air and ground operations.

You'll partner with the VP of Finance, executive team, and department heads in Air Ops, Ground Ops, Customer Ops, and Sales. Hybrid work from Austin preferred, remote possible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance, incl. 3+ years in high-growth venture-backed company.
• Expert Excel modeling: built integrated three-statement models from scratch.
• Strong unit-economics experience and board/investor materials experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial model and forecast, monthly reforecasts and annual budget.
• Drive unit economics: customer, lane, and per-package profitability analysis.
• Support pricing and contract economics with margin analysis for deals.
• Build KPI and performance management framework; lead monthly reviews.
• Deliver budget vs. actual reporting with variance explanations.
• Prepare board materials, investor updates, and debt covenant tracking.
• Model cash, working capital, and liquidity with CFO and Controller.
• Scale FP&A: automate reporting and grow the team over time.
