Netskope is seeking a Director of Engineering for Foundation Engineering to lead and inspire a high‑impact team responsible for near real‑time configuration and foundational cloud services across 100+ global data centers.

You will shape the technical direction of our cloud infrastructure, mentor engineering leaders, and drive AI integration to accelerate velocity while maintaining top standards and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years managing managers and multi‑team organizations.
• Expert in distributed systems, infra‑services, data synchronization, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to navigate cross‑team negotiations, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain high engineering standards.
• Hands‑on experience leveraging AI to boost team performance and delivery leverage.
• Experience leading remote teams across multiple countries and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Coach and grow engineering managers and tech leads, driving organizational growth through hiring and hands‑on coaching.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of scalable, resilient foundational services across 100+ global data centers.
• Collaborate with Product, Program Management, and other engineering service owners to align priorities and remove technical roadblocks.
• Architect the future of distributed systems, runtime synchronization, and high‑volume cloud infrastructure.
• Embrace AI‑first culture and integrate AI tools to accelerate velocity and reduce toil.
