Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and quality across dietary services.
• Oversee food safety practices and proper handling of foods and equipment.
• Enhance resident satisfaction by determining food preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain resident diet cards and department records.
• Lead assessments with input from the dietitian.
• Provide strong leadership: hire, evaluate, motivate and discharge staff as needed.
• Direct daily operations: supervise, schedule and coordinate staff.
• Develop training programs and in-service/orientation sessions for staff monthly.
