Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance, quality in dietary, food safety, and service excellence.
• Oversee food safety practices to prevent contamination and control costs.
• Conduct resident interviews to determine dietary needs.
• Maintain resident diet cards and department records.
• Lead annual and quarterly assessments with dietitian input.
• Interview, hire, motivate, and discharge staff as needed.
• Direct daily operations and supervise staff in the Food and Nutrition Department.
• Develop monthly training programs for dietary staff.
