Job summary

Magnifica Air in Orlando is seeking an experienced Training Director to own pilot and ground training strategy, ensuring safety, competence and excellent aeronautical decision making. You’ll mentor the team and lead major training initiatives across flight and ground school.

You’ll partner with senior leadership to align training with business objectives, manage budgets, and implement advanced training technologies while staying compliant with Part 121 requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of experience in part 121 Airline Training Programs.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in part 121 Pilot Operations.
  • A320 type rating preferred.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to model dedication and support for company goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of common desktop applications.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all aspects of flight and ground training, ensuring pilots are trained to the highest safety and performance standards.
  • Lead major training initiatives, including the development of new training programs and the implementation of advanced training technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost predictions and develop/monitor the budget for the Flight Training Department.
  • Ensure that all training programs are formulated and administered in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring training programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align training strategies with overall business objectives.

What you’ll do:
