Job summary

Magnifica Air invites a seasoned aviation executive to lead Flight Operations as Director of Flight Operations, guiding certification and start of operations with autonomy.

You will shape policies, oversee flight planning, crew scheduling, maintenance and customer service, while mentoring a high-performing team and maintaining FAA/TSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in Part 121/135 aviation operations management with demonstrated success.
• Extensive knowledge of FAA, TSA, and international aviation regulations.
• Airline Transport Pilot certificate (ATP) required.
• Recent supervisory/managerial experience with operational control over Part 121/135.
• At least 3 years as PIC under Part 121/135 in large aircraft in at least one category.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flight operations, including flight planning, crew scheduling, maintenance, and customer service.
• Maintain a strong relationship with FSDO and ensure compliance with FAA, TSA and international regs.
• Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction; mentor ops personnel.
• Enforce rigorous safety procedures; conduct training and monitor weather to avoid unsafe conditions; plan emergency response.
• Oversee SOC scheduling, coordinate with maintenance and optimize routes for fuel efficiency.
