Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a Fitness Manager to lead and develop fitness programming while overseeing staff and daily operations at Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley. The role focuses on delivering inclusive wellness experiences, coordinating personal trainers and group instructors, and driving program quality and participation.

You will oversee scheduling, equipment maintenance, and guest satisfaction, while balancing leadership with hands-on program delivery to ensure compelling member

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fitness or wellness management experience.
• NASM/ACE/ACSM certification preferred.
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evolve a comprehensive fitness program for diverse member needs.
• Lead personal trainers and group fitness instructors, ensuring program quality.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll submissions, and class coverage.
• Manage Technogym scheduling software and equipment upkeep.
• Drive revenue growth and monitor member satisfaction and engagement.
