Job summary

The Fitness Manager at Claremont Resort & Club in Berkeley leads and oversees all fitness programming and operations, guiding personal trainers and group instructors, and delivering an inclusive wellness experience for members of all ages. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fitness or wellness management experience.
• Nationally recognized fitness certifications (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent) preferred.
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency with scheduling and management software (Technogym preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with diverse age groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a comprehensive fitness program serving a wide range of member interests and ability levels.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll for trainers and group fitness instructors.
• Ensure programming aligns with Club standards, brand positioning, and safety.
• Drive revenue growth through engagement, participation metrics, and member feedback.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to maintain fitness spaces and equipment.
