Job summary

Claremont Resort & Club in the Berkeley hills is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead all fitness programming and operations, delivering an inclusive wellness experience for members of all ages. You will supervise personal trainers and group fitness instructors, ensure program quality, and drive participation and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of fitness or wellness management experience.
• Nationally recognized fitness certifications preferred (NASM/ACE/ACSM).
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Proven leadership and mentorship capability.
• Excellent communication with diverse age groups and fitness levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evolve a comprehensive fitness program across multiple modalities.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, and schedule trainers and instructors.
• Maintain a welcoming member experience, address feedback, and ensure safety and inclusivity.
• Manage Technogym scheduling software, equipment maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Drive revenue growth by using data, setting targets, and monitoring performance.
