A publicly traded, de-SPAC’d company is hiring its first dedicated FP&A leader. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will build the financial planning infrastructure from the ground up — with cash forecasting and liquidity planning as the top priority — while establishing the budgeting discipline and reporting rigour needed to support a growing, complex business.
They operate a DTC and subscription business, so hands‑on experience with DTC financial models, subscription economics and the metrics that drive recurring revenue is highly preferred. This is a high‑ownership, high‑visibility role for someone who can operate with public‑company precision and startup speed simultaneously.
What You’ll Own
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑range planning across both business segments
- Own integrated cash and capital planning — the number one deliverable in this role
- Drive monthly reporting, KPI reporting and variance analysis for functional and segment leaders
- Support Board, Audit Committee, earnings process and investor reporting
- Serve as the dedicated financial partner to the Consumer Health leadership team — owning the DTC and subscription P&L, including CAC, LTV, retention, AOV, margin and payback period
- Build and maintain financial models that connect subscriber acquisition and retention economics to cash flow and long‑range capital requirements
- Develop scenario models for DTC growth initiatives, promotional investments and channel expansion to support commercial decision-making
Systems & Process
- Own ERP — chart of accounts, data integrity and system design
- Identify manual and fragmented FP&A processes and replace them with documented, repeatable, automated workflows
- Manage planning and BI tool implementation or rebuild including requirements definition and implementation partner management
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years as an FP&A Director with demonstrated ownership of the full planning cycle
- Investment banking background — formal analyst programme training strongly preferred
- Startup or high‑growth company experience; comfort building from scratch in ambiguous environments
- Hands‑on DTC ecommerce and/or subscription experience will make you stand out — you must understand the unit economics of a consumer direct business including CAC, LTV, payback period, churn and contribution margin, and have built financial models around them
- Health and wellness DTC background a strong plus
- Strong ERP experience; NetSuite preferred
- GAAP and non‑GAAP reporting fluency; experience supporting public‑company processes including Board and Audit Committee materials
- High‑ownership operator who can challenge assumptions, prioritise ruthlessly and drive initiatives through to execution
